Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies

In the morning I'm always hungry and in a hurry. A lot of times I don't have time to eat. I've finally found a healthy,  yummy on the go snack. I received the Quaker Oatmeal Raisin Cookie as part of my Mom voxbox from Influenster.com. It was the first thing I took out of the box because I was hungry. I was honestly expecting not to like it. When I first opened the bag it smelled very fresh. I took a bite of it and instantly loved it. I loved how fresh, soft and chewy the cookie was. I went out and bought more so my husband can also have some. The cookies, are made with Whole Grain Quaker Oats, are Individually packaged, provide a good source of fiber & contain 6 grams of total fat per serving. They are a healthy, yummy on the go snack. You can find Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies at most major retailers at about $2.69 for a box of 6 cookies.

Gucci’s new Flora by Gucci - The Garden Review

Hello Ladies,

I’m a perfume addict; I have always bought different perfumes and just love wearing all kinds of scents (floral scents being my least favorite).  Recently, I was given samples of Gucci’s new Flora by Gucci - The Garden.  The trio named Gorgeous Gardenia, Gracious Tuberose and Glamorous Magnolia are a bouquet of gorgeous smelling flowers.

Gorgeous Gardenia (pink)

Gorgeous Gardenia is my favorite scent out of the three by far. Good gardenia scents are hard to find and when you do find one it will most likely be expensive. Gorgeous Gardenia smells very fruity, floral and sugary all in one bottle. I can smell gardenia in it but it’s very, very, very light. I’m not a fan of floral scents but I like this one it’s very light on the floral and a little heavier on the sugar and fruit.  

Description: red berries, pear, gardenia petals, frangipani flower, patchouli and brown sugar.

Glamorous Magnolia (blue)

Glamorous Magnolia is the one I was least interested in, decent magnolia fragrances are even harder to find than decent gardenia fragrances.  Unlike the light scent of gardenia in gorgeous gardenia this one has a stronger Magnolia scent. This is one of those really light fragrances and almost feels watered down. It smells kind of like fresh citrus, cucumber & magnolia with a little bit of musk.  I really didn’t care much for this one I’ve even wore it to work so the scent can grow on me. Luckily the scent is so “watered down” I couldn’t smell it anymore within 2 hours of putting it on.

Description:  magnolia, freesia, citrus, green leaves, peony, sandalwood, musk, and chocolate.

Gracious Tuberose (green)

Gracious Tuberose was my favorite scent of the trio when I first opened the bottles, after testing them and wearing them it fell second to Gorgeous Gardenia.  In the bottle it smells kind of sweet and has light woody smell. When I put it on it smelled more like roses and like I’ve said I love perfume but the flower smell is not my favorite, out of the bottle though it is a very light, fresh scent.

Description:  Violet, peach, cedar wood, cistus & tuberose.

Overall, if I’m in a hurry to go out at night and have to put on perfume these wouldn’t be the first scents I reach for but I like them enough to buy them and wear them only sometimes.  You can find the trio at Sephora or Macy’s. Thank you BzzAgent for the opportunity!

Neutrogena Review

Hello Ladies!!

               A few weeks ago I joined a site called BzzAgent. 

What is BzzAgent?

 One of the first campaigns I was invited to was the Neutrogena Cosmetics campaign.

Revitalizing Lip Balm

I gave this product 4 out of 5 stars. These lip balms are a great product to take with you everywhere!!  They are priced fairly at about $8 (you can usually get them on sale or use a coupon).  I love the way they feel, the SPF 20 & the amount of pigmentation.  It has a very smooth texture that feels great on your lips and not sticky, the way lip balms feel. The SPF 20 is definitely one of the best features for reasons I really don’t think need explanation, let’s just say it’s a perfect lip balm for a day out at the park or the beach. The pigmentation on the lip balms make you lips get an even tone without looking like you are wearing makeup. They make your lips look very naturally colored.

Now the reasons it got 4 instead of 5 stars is the scent & shape. Opening them I thought I liked the scent on them I thought it was a nice fruity scent, but after wearing them for a while the scent kind of bothers me a little bit, I have no idea why but I just didn’t like it. The shape is also a little odd it makes the lip balm hard to put on, although, I do see a few positives in the shape. You put it in your pocket and it not bulky or lay it on the counter and it won’t roll away. Overall, I like these lip balms and would buy them.

Nourishing Eyeliner

I gave this product a 5 out of 5 stars. There is no makeup product I buy more than eyeliners. I don’t know why but I’m always buying different eyeliners. I buy gels, pencils, liquid liners anything I can get my hands on I buy.  I like the packing, the smoothness, and the smudger at the end of the pencil.  I like the packing of the pencil the width of the pencil is perfect. The pencil is easy to use it glides on easily and doesn’t tug on my eyelid. One of the best features of this pencil is that it goes on dark. I also really like the smudger. The smudger makes it easy to create a smokey eye or if you use it lightly it blends the little mistakes you make while putting on your eyeliner.  This eyeliner also stayed on all day and didn’t run or smear throughout the day the way other eyeliners do.

Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector.

I gave this product  3 out of 5 stars. I have dark bluish circles under my eyes look super tired all the time. I’ve spent a lot of money and time on different products that would cover those circles without making it look cakey. This product is only okay when it comes to covering the dark under eye circles. I really don’t care much  for the packing the brush applicator is not good. I usually put a little dab on my hand and use one of my own makeup brushes to apply the product. I usually wear full coverage makeup and this product probably would not satisfy the average full coverage makeup girl. This is very light coverage which I think is great for summertime!

Overall, I think they are great summertime "natural look" products!

How to get the Sexy Summer Glow

Step 1: Moisturizer/sunblock
